Design Guide: Neighborhood Business is a workbook and resource developed by DesignCore Detroit. It’s intended to help businesses understand what it’s like to work with designers and the overall creative process. The guide is aimed at inspiring and empowering brick-and-mortar business owners in Detroit.
The culmination of the material resulted from four workshops covering the topics of brand, digital, interior design, and architecture. Sample sections include: Design Process, Budget vs. Fees, Exercise Worksheets, Neighborhood Case Study Examples, Glossary Terms, and Resources Lists among many other interactive exercises.
